Rachel Robertson
Teaching Artist

As a native of Scotland, Rachel completed her performance training at Edinburgh Napier University, with a major in acting and English literature in a Bachelor of Arts (Hons). She has appeared in productions with Approxima Arts, Twelve Twelve Theatre, Max Reid Productions, Storyboard Theatre, New Celts Productions and The Abbey Players.
Rachel has also conducted theatre workshops with Art Point Scotland, specifically with younger children of migrants and also bringing together locals within rural communities.
With Twelve Twelve Theatre, their goal was to showcase twelve, new writing plays in a year, with follow-up training and scratch nights for new acting graduates.

Rachel has also been involved with character devised work and street theatre with Conflux Theatre at Glasgow Surge Festival (2013-2014) and Glastonbury Festival (2013).
​
In Canberra region she has appeared as ‘Puck’ in A Midsummer Night’s Dream at the Q theatre, among other roles.

Rachel also has theatre lighting and technical experience through extensive involvement with the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, including the I am Yours (Edinburgh Fringe 2016) and ‘Hemmed In (Edinburgh Fringe 2015) with New Celts Productions and Reservoir Dogs (Edinburgh Fringe 2015) with Cat O’ Nine Tails.
