If you're looking to upskill as an actor, The Elements of Acting is the way to go. Have you ever wondered how to move past wooden, rigid performances and into spontaneous, emotional ones which enchant your audience? In this course, you'll work with the Meisner technique, which will teach you how to do just that.
Developed by Sanford Meisner in the 1940s, the Meisner technique is a series of exercises that teach the actor how to connect with and respond to the energy from fellow actors, resulting in a natural and "real" looking performance. But more than that, you'll learn what it is to communicate emotion in a way that your audience will be able to read what your character is thinking. This is one of the greatest secrets in acting!
Accreditation
Plus, if you complete this course successfully, and complete your performance and other activities, you can earn one unit in the 10915NAT Certificate IV in Acting, which is NAT10915004 Express emotion in performance.
